Twist Lamp

hand blown glass, maple, metallic paint
8” x 15”

A pursuit in creating a pure analog method of directing and dimming light. There are two glass shields, each resting on its own track of ball bearings that allow for easy and independent rotation. One has a reflective surface applied that reflects and directs the light. The second shield is painted with an opaque paint that allows for the bulb to be partially or fully shaded depending on its rotated position.
